Within just a few months of launching its Digital Life Home Security service in the market, AT&T has become a proud recipient of a Five Diamond certification from the Central Station Alarm Association, or CSAA. In an announcement made just earlier this week, AT&T expressed their happiness over receiving a certification that is only given to less than 150 companies out of about 2,700 central stations in America.

We are pleased to have received the CSAA Five Diamond certification as only fewer than 150 of approximately 2,700 central stations across the U.S. achieve this status,” an AT&T representative told Security Systems News. “And we are even more pleased to have done so in a matter of a few months of operation since our commercial launch.”

Receiving a Five Diamond certification from CSAA is certainly a prestigious moment for any company providing , and adds greatly to the brand value of the company and the amount of trust it can instill among its customers. That is because in order to receive the certification, a central station must qualify to be UL-listed and every operator must pass the CSAA Central Station Operator Level 1 online training course.

Commenting on the certification, Becky Lane, Vice President, membership and programs, CSAA said that AT&T’s receiving the certification means that AT&T knows and understands the importance of training and certification in the security and monitoring sector. Further elaborating on the same, Lane explained that a number of cable and telecom companies entering the home security services and alarm systems arena take the easier route and use existing monitoring stations, instead of setting up a monitoring station of their own. DIRECTV, for instance, uses the professional monitoring facility of Protection 1. AT&T, on the other hand, has established its very own central station for monitoring and set up a healthy trend. To see this trend continue would be a great thing for the end users as wellas the companies.

AT&T launched its line of home security and under the brand Digital Life in April 2013. Since then, the company has made quite a niche for itself and has turned into a very trusted and reliable provider of to several cities in the U.S.A. Recently, it announced its plans of launching Digital Life services in five new major markets: Cleveland, Detroit, Boston, Portland, and San Antonio. This would give it a much wider clientele, and plenty of options to the people of these cities to stay safe all round the year.
